Hestia’s student placements are offered to individuals undertaking their professional qualification either a Degree in Social Work or Masters in Social Work.

Due to the demand and level of available placements, universities are struggling to find appropriate placements for social work students in the areas that they have expressed an interest. As Hestia run social care projects throughout London, we are in the fortunate position to offer placements to social work students in the fields of children & family, criminal justice (offender rehabilitation) and community care (elderly, mental health and substance misuse). We have specialist projects working with people affected by physical disabilities, mental health needs, domestic abuse, offenders and ex-offenders. The social work placements are managed by a qualified practice assessor who is social work qualified. The placements are supported by experienced staff, some who have undertaken the Enabling Others to Learn Award.

Hestia is dedicated to training, learning and development and we have successfully offered placements to social work students who are now qualified.

You can chat with a member of staff from Hestia between 12 pm-2 pm on Monday 8th February if you have any questions about jobs.
