Vasiqa manages our website. She looks after our social media handles, plans and supports our online and in person events. She also works for one of our partners where she delivers workshops.  

Sam Wells

Workforce Planning & Development Manager

Sam looks after the professional development of social workers and student social workers in the London Borough of Redbridge, managing the Advanced Practice Masters CPD programme, Practice Education, Student Placements and the Step Up to Social Work Programme. Sam is also the lead for the North East London Regional Step Up Partnership, managing the programme on behalf of the DFE for the six Regional Partners and Partner HEI across North East London.

Colette Ham

Professional Development Manager LB Havering
Colette's responsibility is the ‘Practitioners in Training’ faculty.  She supports the professional development of all social workers from student social workers through to experienced social workers.  This includes leading on the Social Work Apprenticeships, the Step Up to Social Work and Frontline programmes and the ASYE in Havering. In relation to experienced social workers, they are supported with a CPD accredited programme reviewed annually within our North East London Partnership in relation to which she takes a lead in Havering.

Nicci Woolnough

ASYE & Placements Coordinator for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham
Nicci is the ASYE and Placements coordinator for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.  She coordinates placements for student SW’s and leads on the Step up to SW programme for the Borough.  She coordinates the ASYE for all NQSW’s who join LBBD and is lead of the NEL NQSW training programme on behalf of the North East London SW Partnership.

Dale Allard

Professional Practice Lead, Care and Support, Quality Assurance, Families
Dale coordinates and supports NQSWs through their ASYE, he also locates placements within a statutory setting for students, and promotes CPD amongst our qualified social workers, which includes practice education.

Jo Finch

Reader in Social Work, Deputy Director of the Centre of Social Work Research and Programme Director of the Professional Doctorate in Social Work at the University of East London
Jo publishes on the issue assessing and assessing struggling or failing students on  placements and also publishes on the issue of PREVENT and social work. Jo is the author or “Working with Struggling Students on Placement: A Practical Guide” (2017, Policy Press) and is co-author of “SHARE: A New Model of Social Work” (2018, Kirwan Maclean Associates).
