London Met’s School of Social Sciences and Professions (SSSP) is undertaking a research project to learn more about how housing and homelessness is affecting Lodon Met’s students.
We extend an invitation to all student at London Met to participate in our mixed-method research study. Whether you have faced challenges with your current housing situations or are satisfied with your accommodation, we would like to hear from you.
Survey
Please take a few moments to complete the following anonymous survey where you can share your housing experiences, challenges and suggestions: CLICK HERE
Would you like to be involved in the creative aspect of the project – PhotoVoice?
We also invite you to join 3 PhotoVoice workshops to be held at London Met University. In these workshops, you will explore your personal housing experiences through photography. It’s a unique social bonding opportunity where you can improve your photography skills with the support of a professional photographer, while meeting others in a safe, inclusive and creative space.
There are no right or wrong photographs – every voice is important in shaping the final exhibition of your photographs!
If you’re interested in joining the PhotoVoice workshops, leave your contact details at the end of the survey. We will contact you via email with more information about these workshops.
Outcome
Your input matters! What you decide to share with us will shape the final report’s findings and recommendations. We will share these insights with the university Senior Management Team and Course and Placement Leads to work towards systemic change. The study aims to co-design solutions to how the needs of students can be addressed within the current housing crises.
