Newham Council, in partnership with The British Library, are thrilled to provide our entrepreneurs with access to: expert-run workshops in Newham’s libraries, one-to-one sessions with start-up advisors, and vast professional networks, all for FREE! Entrepreneurs in Newham will:

SiLL is modelled on the British Library’s successful National Network of 13 Business & IP Centres located in major city libraries across the UK, which since April 2018 has helped an average of 60 people per day become entrepreneurs and has generated £25 for the economy for every £1 of public money spent.

Entrepreneurs who have access to the support provided by SiLL are up to four times more likely to create a sustainable business, with 90% of businesses successfully trading beyond the three year mark.
