Pratichi Chatterjee, Crisis

Pratichi Chatterjee works in social research. Currently, she leads a project at Crisis that aims to understand how experiences of homelessness and precarious housing are shaped by and in turn influence racial inequalities. Prior to starting her current role, Pratichi was based in Australia for six years, where her work looked at tenants’ experiences of social redevelopment and gentrification in suburbs that were also the target of racism and class-based discrimination.

Steve McIntyre, Stonewell Housing

Steven McIntyre is the Chief Executive Officer of LGBTQ+ Housing and Homelessness Charity Stonewall Housing. Steven joined Stonewall Housing in 2020 and is focused on ensuring that all LGBTQ+ people have access to housing and homelessness services that recognise and meet their needs

Louisa Steele, Homeless Link

Louisa Steele has worked across women’s specialist services and the homelessness sector in England for the past twelve years, in both frontline and strategic roles. Louisa has used this cross-sector knowledge in her current role as Housing First and Homelessness Project manager at Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse, where she leads on an innovative Housing First partnership for women and works to improve services and systems for survivors of abuse experiencing multiple disadvantages.

Meg Rainey, Senior Social Worker

Senior Social Worker in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. She has a front-line view of the causes and impact of homelessness, particularly for people with mental health issues.

Sem Moema

London Assembly Member for NE London, Member of Housing Committee, Chair of the London Labour Housing Group. Before joining the Assembly, Sem was an account director at a leading public affairs and political communications agency, Connect Group. Sem’s professional experience included working with trade unions, supporting their campaigning and policy development on housing; parliamentary lobbying on equalities in the workplace (women, disabled people, Black workers); and self-employment. Sem also has experience in the housing sector, working for a G15 housing association, as well as the youth and voluntary sectors, having worked for The Scout Association and international development charity VSO.
